Debbie started life in North Yorkshire, not that very long ago, the youngest of 4 children.
She emigrated to Australia in 1990 and now is dinky di, obtaining her certificate of citizenship in May 1993.
Her professional life started in the automotive industry, culminating in winning dealer of the year for her Mercedes Benz/Saab dealership in Wollongong. After this, Far North Queensland and a change in direction to the health industry beckoned, with time spent co-ordinating the theatre bookings at the Cairns Base Hospital.
Successfully headhunted from her subesequent practice manager
position (!), she has been an integral part of NKC Medical from its
inception.
A keen equesterienne, she has competed at national level in the
UK. She and husband Kev have a four-legged “daughter” called Daisy that
takes a lot of their time, and also enjoy taking walks close to their
home along the beach.
Debbie is absolutely efficient in every thing she undertakes,
and is the overall co-ordinator of the rooms – not only overwhelmingly
competent, she constantly thinks “outside the square” with her overall
goal being the very best episode of patient care that can be achieved.
She brings her considerable experience to bear in her role as
office manager, which translates as our patient’s experience within the
rooms being as close to excellent as it’s possible to be.
