Antenatal Education

Our very experienced (and with a sense of humour!) midwives will educate you every step of the way along the journey of your pregnancy. As your pregnancy progresses, different questions will need to be addressed and we encourage you to use your time with the midwife at your antenatal visits to your best advantage.

Part of our care includes being "birth ready". This involves informing you about and documenting your choices for all the routine decisions that are undertaken at the time of birth. Dr. Natalie believes that these decisions should be undertaken prior to arrival in the delivery room, when your main focus should be on birth and not on paperwork. It's also the opportunity to review your thoughts, hopes and perhaps apprehensions surrounding the birth of your baby and to give you the tools to approach this very special and challenging time with confidence and fortitude.
